Understanding the Member Directory

You must be logged in as a member to see the directory.

Why are some couples listed together and others separately?

  • It's all about the main email address. The program uses it as a "unique identifier." In other words, each record can have only one main email and each must be unique in the system.email primary.PNG
  • Some couples share an email, so they have been entered together.
  • Group emails go out only to the main email in the system.
  • Have separate email addresses? Send them to mjrldaub@bellsouth.net.

How do I search the member directory?

     Search: The Search box is easy to use. Just type what you're looking for and it immediately finds the closest match. For example, start with a last or first name and then try a street name.

     Advanced Search: Refines searches and finds values stored in a "memo" type field, such as Interests.

  • Don't let "advanced" scare you. It's easy once you get the idea.
  • Search multiple fields at the same time, such as all golfers from NJ.
    1. Enter the first parameter (Interests contains golf).
    2. Click "Add Criteria" to open a new box.
    3. Choose All to find members with both values (Golfers and NJ) or Any to find those with either one (Golfers or NJ)
    4. Hint: Type only the first few letters of the word, such golf for golfers. Finds Interests where the entry is golf, golfing, golfer, etc.

     Find your nearest neighbors: KNN is sectioned into 3 Communities (headed by Leaders) and each is further divided into Neighborhoods (headed by Representatives). The member's neighborhood, leader and representative are listed in the right column.

    • PM-P Pinnacle Mt Peak

     To find those who live in your area:

  1. Search box: Enter the first 2 initials to find those in your Community.
  2. Narrow it down further by adding the third to find those in your Neighborhood.
  • For example, to find all those who live in the Pinnacle Mt neighborhood, enter PM - for those on the Peak, type in PM-P.

*If you enter GM for Glassy Mt, you will also get everyone who has an gmail address, such as member@gmail.com. To eliminate them, type a hyphen (-) after the GM as in GM-.
