"A Bit of History," by Galen Reuther

Galen Reuther, Kenmure resident and author of histories of Flat Rock, Connemara and Hendersonville, has written the first of a series of articles about Kenmure for the Kenmure Property Owner's Association (KPOA) newsletter. It is reprinted here with her permission.

Galen is president of the Historic Flat Rock, Inc., a non-profit organization founded in 1968. Its purpose is to protect and preserve the historic homes, views and landscapes in the Village of FlatRock and the surrounding area. To learn more about HFR, click here.
