Galen Reuther, Kenmure resident and author of histories of
Flat Rock, Connemara and Hendersonville, has written the first of a
series of articles about Kenmure for the
Kenmure Property Owner's
Association (KPOA) newsletter. It is reprinted here with her permission.
Galen is president of the Historic Flat Rock, Inc., a non-profit organization founded in
1968. Its purpose is to protect and preserve the historic homes, views
