You are invited to join your fellow KNN members to see how the ultimate driving machine is built. We will visit the BMW Zentrum, a one-of-a-kind facility, and experience the past, present and future of BMW in the only BMW museum in North America.
See the vehicles produced at BMW manufacturing up close - every line, every curve, every exhilarating detail of these truly remarkable BMW's, all built at the Greer, SC manufacturing plant.
This is a 1 1/2-hour, walking tour of the Assembly Hall. The tour will give you an appreciation of the quality, the craftsmanship, the robotics, and all it takes to make a BMW vehicle.
This 1 to 2 mile walking tour is at a slow pace but without any breaks. This tour is not accessible to visitors in wheelchairs or walkers due to the coach bus transportation from building to building within the BMW campus.
After the guided tour there will be some time to visit the museum. Here you will see numerous milestones in both racing and touring vehicles. View the rare and important vehicles from BMW's past and trace BMW's pioneering spirit.
After the tour we will depart Greer, SC for Restaurant 17 for Happy Hour, 10 Road of Vines, Travelers Rest, SC 29690
Event Details: Monday, June 2, 2025
11:15 AM – Meet at KCC Lower-Level Parking Lot
11:30 AM – Depart for Greer, SC
12:30 PM – Arrive at BMW Zentrum Greer, SC
12:45 PM – Check in and receive unique Visitor’s ID Badge
1:15 – 2:45 PM – Zentrum Factory Tour
2:45 – 3:15 PM – Museum/Gift Shop
3:15 – 4:00 PM - Arrive Restaurant 17
4:00 – 5:30 PM - Happy Hour
5:30 PM – Depart for Kenmure
Transportation for this event will be provided by KNN. All participants are expected to ride the bus.
Event Costs:
· Per person cost for roundtrip bus transportation and the 1 1/2-hour BMW Factory Tour is $41.00 per person. One check will suffice for multiple people.
· Cost for beverages, snacks and/or purchases at the Zentrum Gift Shop will be on your own account.
· Cost for food and beverages incurred at Restaurant 17 will be on your own account.
Payment requirements: Pre-payment of $41.00 per person is required to reserve your space. Once you have completed the on-line registration for the event, you will receive a "registration received pending pre-payment" email from the KNN email system. Please follow the pre-payment instructions in that email including submitting the pre-payment by the due date to assure your space is confirmed.
You are encouraged to sign-up early as A&A events usually fill up fast.

Once participation limits are reached, we will utilize a waitlist for the event. We encourage you to register for the waitlist as there are generally cancellations as the event date nears.
KNN members will be prioritized first, before the event is opened to guests.
The pre-payment check should be placed in an envelope addressed to KNN, “Bimmers & Happy Hour" and left at the KPOA office by the due date of Thursday, May 15, 2025. Please write Bimmers & Happy Hour in the memo line of your check.
Please note: Completion of the registration form is not a confirmation that you will be able to participate. Once registered you will receive an email requesting the required pre-payment of $41.00 per person.
The pre-payment amount must be received on or by the due date of Thursday, May 15, 2025. Once pre-payment is recorded, you will receive your event confirmation email.
Participant Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made by end of business day on Monday, May 19th or you will be charged for the full event unless another participant is available to take your spot.

Each participant must print and fill out a copy of the BMW Zentrum Factory Tour Waiver.
At home, please print this form, fill it out and bring this form with you on June 2, 2025. You will not be able to go on the tour without this form.

BMW Zentrum Factory Tour Waiver
In addition, when we reach the Zentrum, BMW will issue everyone a unique ID Badge. In order to receive your badge, BMW needs your first and last name and Date of Birth in advance of the tour date.
Once KNN receives your pre-payment, you will be contacted by KNN for this information. BMW (nor KNN) will retain this information and it will be destroyed after the tour.
Factory Tour Guidelines
- All guests must arrive at the BMW Zentrum Visitors Center and Museum to check in 30 minutes prior to the scheduled tour departure time!
- Completely enclosed shoes are required to tour our facility! Sneakers are recommended. No flip flops, no crocs, no sandals, no high heels. No open toes, no open parts of feet should be showing, and no open heeled shoes are permitted. You will NOT be permitted on the tour if your shoes do not meet these guidelines. No Exceptions!
- Before arriving, please have each tour participant print and completely fill out a copy of the “BMW Zentrum Factory Tour Waiver” form. This form will be turned in when you check in for your tour at the BMW Zentrum's front desk.
- Photographs can only be taken while visiting the Zentrum Museum.
- No photographs or other video imagery is allowed on a factory tour. Power off all cell phones, smart watches and Bluetooth devices prior to the tour.
- Please leave personal belongings locked in your vehicle.
- Tour participants will walk 1 to 2 miles depending on the tour route scheduled.
- BMW reserves the right to cancel tours at any time.
